摘要
幽默是一种语言艺术,在人们日常生活中起着举足轻重的作用。幽默的产生机制实质上就是幽默话语会话含义的产生过程。本文将利用语用学的会话含义理论,从违反合作原则的会话准则的角度,对《警察与赞美诗》中的主要人物对话进行分析,以更好地理解小说中的幽默及幽默的产生过程,进而了解会话含义理论对于分析文学作品的作用。
Abstract
Humour,as a language arts,plays a pivotal role in People＇s Daily life.Humour generating mechanism is essentially the process of conversational implicature produced by humour discourse.This paper adopts pragmatic theory of conversational implicature to analyse the main conversations in The Cop and the Anthem from the perspective of violating conversational maxims of the cooperative principle,so as to get a better understanding of humour generating process in this novel and the role that the conversational implicature played in the analysis of literary works.
