Research on effects of Chinese herbal compounds on preventing and curing of Saprolegniasis in Oncorhynchus masou masou fertilized eggs
Effects of five self-made Chinese medical herbs on preventing and control Saproleginiasis of Oncorhynchus masou masou fertilized eggs were evaluated in this study. The active ingredients of Chinese medical herbs here were extracted by two different methods including water decoction and combination of water decoction and ethanol extraction. The normal dosage groups and dilution groups were set up to compare the effects of five different Chinese herbal compounds with two disinfection concentrations. Under the flowing water fish culture mode at 10 ℃, concentrated drugs were added into medicine flasks and dropped into the horizontal tanks to immerse the fertilized eggs for 40 min. The results indicated that among of five kinds of Chinese herbal compounds, Compound A could improve significantly eyed rate of fertilized eggs and decrease their mortalities caused by Saprolegnia infection under the normal dosage, which could be used as a good Chinese herbs preparation to prevent and control Saprolegniasis during the hatching period.
