Maternal genetic relationship among ethnic populations in Northeastern China
Twenty-three Manchu individuals from Jilin and Liaoning Province of China were analyzed using mitochondrial DNA marker, and were attributed to haplogroups:A,B,C,D,D4,F,M,M8a and R using amplified product-length polymorphisms and coding region SNP analysis. The obtained data together with the data of Daur,Ewenki,Han Chinese,Korean,Manchu,Mongolia and Oroqen retrieved from published paper were analyzed using PCA,AMOVA and network. The results showed that those people who originated from the same area had a high resemblance in maternal lineages, and the neighbouring populations also shared a genetic similarity in the female lineages. It means that the ethnic populations in northeastern China integrated gradually with natives following their migrations.
