The comparative studies on evolved structure of Populusx canadensis Moench under different ecological habitats
The evolved structure of Populusx canadensis Moench under different ecological habitats was studied using manual slicing and optical microscopy techniques. The results were as follows:compared with that of Populusx canadensis Moench under neutral habitat, the internal structure of Populusx canadensis Moench under salinity habitat is gradually changed.A lot of aerenchyma was formed, the stratum corneum and palisade tissue became thicker, however, many cubic crystal and cluster crystal were found, the emergence of these changes is ascribed to the structural development of plant in order to adapt to the salinity habitat.
