Compare the physiological and ecological characters of salt-tolerance between Tilia mandschurica Rupr.er and Tilia amurensis
The changes of leaf morphological characters and physiological indexes were compared between Tilia mandschurica Rupr.er and Tilia amurensis under different salt treatments and treatmentperiods to study the difference of salt-tolerance of the two species. The results showed that the leaves of Tilia mandschurica Rupr.er began to turn yellow and wither in the early stage of salt treatment and the leaf dry weight and water content decreased with the increasing of treatment level and treatment time. However, the growth characters of Tilia amurensis remained unchanged under all treatments.Salt damage index and salt damage rate of the two species increased with the increasing of salt treatment levels.Proline content in Tilia mandschurica Rupr.er and Tilia amurensis leaves both increased significantly from CK to T2.The proline content reached the highest values under the same treatments when treated from 21 d to 35 d.The malonaldehydecontent were higher under T2 than that under CK treatment when treated from 21 d to 35 d.There was no significant difference between all the treatment periods.Therefor, the salt resistance of Tilia amurensis was higher than that of Tilia mandschurica Rupr.er.
