Review on operational safety management and technology development of hydropower dam
At present,the total installed hydropower capacity in China is on the increase. However,the earthquake,flood and other natural disasters occur frequently. The technical and management issues re-lated to dam operational safety are becoming increasingly complex. So the traditional management con-cepts and technologies can no longer meet the relevant requirements. This study expounds the present situation of dam safety management and technology,puts forward the existing problems,sorts out the new development direction,and provides reference for the improvement of dam operational safety man-agement in hydropower industry.
