As an important monitoring item of concrete gravity dam,the vertical displacement of dam crest can directly reflect the actual operation behavior of the dam.This paper surveys the main concrete gravity dams in domestic power industry and analyzes the magnitude,statistical law and main influenc-ing factors of the vertical displacement of each dam crest.As well,the change and distribution of the ver-tical displacement are summarized,which can provide reference for monitoring data analysis and safety evaluation of concrete gravity dams.
