Performance of Si anode for Li-ion battery prepared by photovoltaic Si waste materials
Pure silicon exhibits poor conductivity, and the cost of nanocrystallization/amorphization technology is high. The silicon in photovoltaic industry is highly industrialized and has good conductivity, the waste materials can be reutilized as silicon-based anode for Li-ion battery.Nanocrystalline silicon and amorphous/nanocrystalline silicon using photovoltaic silicon waste materials as raw materials are prepared by mechanical ball milling. The prepared materials exhibit high reversible capacity and stable cycle performance. After cycling 100 times at 0.2 C in 0.005-0.900 V,the remaining specific capacity of nanocrystalline silicon is 2123.32 mAh/g,the remaining specific capacity of amorphous/nanocrystalline silicon is 1367.70 mAh/g.
