Interpretation of mandatory national standard of China for Li-ion battery for electric bicycle
GB 43854-2024 Safety Technical Specification of Lithium-Ion Battery for Electric Bicycle was officially released on April 25,2024.The scope of application of GB 43854-2024 is summarized,the safety requirements,test methods and test purposes are analyzed in detail from the two objects of battery and battery pack applicable to the standard,the test conditions,sample requirements and test procedures are explained.A comparative analysis of the similarities and differences between GB 43854-2024 and GB/T 36972-2018 as well as T/BBIA 4-2023 is conducted.A comprehensive interpretation of the standard is expected to promote the implementation and application of the standard,as well as the healthy and orderly development of the electric bicycle industry.
