Direct current grid energy storage considering SOC balance of batteries
With the practical application of module multi-level series energy storage devices in direct current power grids, the reliability requirements for series submodules are increasing day by day.Compared with traditional voltage source converter(VSC)converter stations, the reliability of multi-stage series energy storage equipment depends on the reliability of power modules and batteries.By simulating the operating conditions of sub-modules containing batteries through operational tests, the reliability of sub-module design can be verified. The topology and basic principles of direct current power grid energy storage equipment are firstly analyzed, the traditional communication structure is introduced. Then, the topology structure and logic control method of the operating test platform are proposed,a closed-loop current control strategy considering battery state of charge(SOC)balance between the valve tower sub-modules is studied.Key test items are sorted out. Finally,a circuit model is built on the MATLAB-Simulink simulation platform. The simulation results show that the SOC difference between different submodules of the same valve tower is within 1%,which meets the requirements of long-term high current operation test for valve tower.
