Research progress in battery energy storage system and power regulation technology
Battery energy storage systems(BESS)and power regulation technologies play an important role in balancing grid supply and demand and enhancing the flexibility of power systems.The progress in BESS and their positioning in different application scenarios,the current state of research on power regulation technologies,their applications in various contexts and control modes are summarized.The integration and optimization of BESS and power regulation systems are discussed.Despite the progress made in BESS technologies,it still faces issues such as energy efficiency and technology,cost-effectiveness,safety,power regulation and the handling of large-scale renewable energy.
