Effects of aging temperature on performance of medium voltage and high voltage aluminum electrolytic capacitors
This study selected three mesohigh voltage aluminum electrolytic capacitors which conducted manual aging tests at temperatures ranging from 90℃to 110℃.Capacitance,dissipation factor, and leakage current were measured before and after the high temperature storage test to assess the stability of capacitor performance and the effect of aging.Capacitors performed best under high-temperature aging conditions of 90℃and 105℃.CD11 GS 250 V and CD11 MA 400 V capacitors,in particular, showed the greatest performance improvement after high-temperature aging at 105℃.On the other hand,CD11 GS 450 V capacitors performed best after high-temperature aging at 90℃.The results indicated that high-temperature aging had a significant impact on the performance of high-voltage aluminum electrolytic capacitors. These findings were crucial for optimizing aging processes and improving the stability of capacitor performance.Furthermore, this study offered an experimental foundation and performance parameter analysis method for investigating the aging process of mesohigh voltage aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
