The effects of polyacrylic acid on the high-current discharge performance of LR03 alkaline manganese battery
The effects of polyacrylic acid on high-current discharge performance of LR03 Alkaline zinc-manganese battery were studied by using constant discharge and internal resistance testing technology.The results is that,with the amount of polyacrylic acid is added,the battery resistance is increased while isolation of solid and liquid substance is decreased.When polyacrylic acid is added more than 0.35/100 g,there is no electro-hydraulic precipitation after 24 hours of zinc gel preparation,and the discharge capacity increases first and then decreases.So in the experiment of adding polyacrylic acid,the optimal ratio of polyacrylic acid and zinc powder is 0.35/100 g,with the discharge performance under 600 mA(10 s/m,1 h/d,0.9 V)increasing 8.26%.
