Research on simulation method of damage for squaring lithium-ion battery
With the popularity of new energy vehicles,the safety of power batteries has gradually attracted attention,among which the damage research of battery cells under different external loads is the basis for the structural design of battery packs.In this paper,the failure process mechanism of extrusion in different directions is explored from the experimental point of view,and then the damage prediction model of extrusion cell in different directions is established,which can realize the prediction of the failure boundary of the cell under the action of extrusion in different directions and the prediction of the deformation of the pole piece under the partial extrusion scenario.The accuracy of the simulation model is verified.The damage limit shape variable and the maximum extrusion pressure of the battery were determined by simulation,which provided an important reference for the structural design of the battery pack.
