Redevelopment of Composite Power Source of Hybrid Electric Vehicle Based on ADVISOR
In order to achieve performance simulation for battery-ultracapacitor(BU) hybrid system, the principle of BU in parallel is analyzed, and the hybrid energy storage system (HESS) is redeveloped based on ADVISOR, a vehicle simulation software. In the paper, a structure of HESS is proposed for hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), and a solution for the development of submodels inside the proposed model is provided. Simulation and performance analysis are performed by redeveloping HESS on parallel HEV. The simulation result shows that the redevelopment of the HESS is feasible, and the peak battery power is improved greatly.
