Coal-to-methanol and natural gas-to liquid ammonia plant are the independent plant, and different in material route and product slate. A research on the process of these two plants was carried out to find the best way to combine the processes, achieving the combined production of methanol and liquid ammonia. Under the condition of price change of methanol and liquid ammonia, the combined plant may exert the optimized operation efficiency.
