PROBLEMS EXISTED IN LIQUID CARBON DIOXIDE PLANT AND OPTIMIZATION MEASURES
The liquid carbon dioxide device mainly uses the high-purity carbon dioxide tail gas emitted from the low-temperature methanol washing device as the feed gas. By removing some light components such as water, hydrogen sulfide, carbonyl sulfur, ammonia and methanol from the feed gas, carbon dioxide is purified to over 99.9%, and the gas is compressed, purified and liquefied to achieve the national standard of food additives. Some problems were analyzed, e.g. during the operation, the tail gas from the plant may activate flammable gas, toxic and hazardous gas alarm, the absorbent agent becomes pulverized, and the compressor operates under low load, causing energy loss. Measures for energy saving and consumption reduction, and the optimization of process parameters were taken to guarantee the economic, safe and stable operation of the plant.
