This paper introduced the crude oil seal structure of molten urea pump,analyzed the reasons of oil leakage and water channeling in the oil seal,and put forward the improvement method followed by redesigning and independently processing the oil seal.The reformation is proved to have good result.It eliminated the oil seal leakage,increased the service life of the equipment and greatly saved the maintenance costs.
