APPLICATION OF BREAKPOINT CHLORINATION METHOD ON DRAINE WATER TREATMENT IN A COAL MINING COMPANY
The breakpoint chlorination method is a common industrial wastewater treatment method for removing low-concentration ammonia nitrogen, which is characterized by being less affected by temperature. This study took the draine water from the open-pit coal mine as the research object, explored the treatment effect of the breakpoint chlorination method, calculated the theoretical dosage of 63.32 mg/L,explored its optimal dosage, and finally achieved an ammonia nitrogen removal rate of 97.09%.At the same time, the influence of sodium hypochlorite on other water quality indicators was analyzed, and the production process was improved,so that the drainage water from the mining area could meet the standards of Class Ⅲ discharge water in GB 3838-2022"Surface Water Environmental Quality Standards"for a long time.
