Urea stripping tower is the critical high pressure equipment in urea plant.Its long term and high efficient operation will directly influence the long term operation and energy saving of the urea plant.This paper described some problems easily occurred during tripping tower operation.Several improvement measures were taken during updating and changing the stripping tower,such as gland sealing mode,liquid import and distribution,seal mode of distribution pipe,and the application of new level meter,to increase the operation term and energy saving,and therefore achieving the energy saving and consumption reduction of the urea plant.
