THE IMPACT OF CHANGING THE STANDPIPES OF UREA STRIPPING TOWER ON THE SYSTEM AND EMERGENT MAINTENANCE
After changing part of the standpipes in the stripping tower of the urea plant,the abnormal operation parameters appeared,and the efficiency of the tower reduced,which brought up significant bad impact on the work condition of the urea plant.After taking some measures,such as shutting down the plant temporarily to drain the tower,purging the tower,dismounting the new standpipes and recovering the old ones,the work conditions reset to the normal after recommissioning.To avoid the same accident happening again,it's suggested that if you change the standpipes,you should change them all,not partially,to avoid the abnormal condition caused by changing new standpipes that would bring impact on stable operation and product quality.This will provide the reference for the same type of emergent maintenance.
