To summarize the nursing care of a child with refractory nephrotic syndrome complicated with toxic epidermal necrolysis. The child with refractory nephrotic syndrome was diagnosed in the past, and the disease led to the loss of a large number of proteins, coupled with the long-term use of corticosteroid therapy, which led to the involvement of multiple systems of the whole body and the loss of skin barrier function that was very easy to cause serious complications such as septicemia, septic shock and multiple organ failure due to severe infection,so it was very difficult to treat and nurse. The main nursing points of this case included:close observation of disease changes, protective nursing measures, skin care, skin protection around the pipeline, oral, eye, perineal mucosa care, pain care and psychological care. After 21 days of fine nursing, the whole body skin and mucous membrane were intact and the exfoliated lesions were basically repaired. The child's condition improved, leading to discharged from the hospital.
