Research on the Spatial Spillover and Spatiotemporal Heterogeneity Effects of Digital Finance on New Quality Productive Forces Development
This study explored the mechanism through which digital finance affects the development of new quality productive forces from the perspectives of innovation, greenness, and digitization.Considering spatial dependence and regional development imbalances.Using panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2022,the study incorporated the Spatial Durbin Model(SDM)and the Geographically and Temporally Weighted Regression(GTWR)model to empirically analyze the spatial spillover effects and spatiotemporal heterogeneity of digital finance on new quality productive forces. The results demonstrate significant spatial interdependence between digital finance and new quality productive forces, characterized by a high-high and low-low clustering spatial pattern. While the direct impact of digital finance on local new quality productive forces development is limited, its spillover and radiation effects significantly enhance the productivity of neighboring regions.Additionally, the influence of digital finance on new quality productive forces exhibits distinct spatiotemporal heterogeneity.Temporally, the impact follows an inverted U-shaped trajectory, initially increasing and subsequently declining.Spatially, the effects vary significantly across regions, although these disparities have been narrowing over time.
