An Empirical Analysis of the Impact of Digital Economy on China's Financial Service Trade Exports
With the rapid advancement of economic globalization, the international competitiveness of financial services trade has emerged as a key indicator of a country's economic strength. The accelerated development of the digital economy exerts a profound influence on financial services trade.Grounded in theories of financial services trade, this study evaluated the international competitiveness and current status of China's financial services trade by employing metrics such as international market share, the Trade Competitivenes(TC)index, and the Revealed Comparative Advantage(RCA)index.Additionally, the study used entropy method-derived digital economy indices to examine their impact on the total export volume of China's financial services trade.A Vector Auto-Regressive(VAR)model was constructed, and regression analyses were performed using EVIEWS software, incorporating empirical techniques such as least squares estimation and multicollinearity tests. The empirical results indicate a positive correlation between the development of the digital economy and financial services trade, suggesting that advancements in the digital economy significantly drive growth in financial services trade exports.Based on these findings, the paper proposed policy recommendations to facilitate the digital transformation of financial services trade. These include strengthening digital infrastructure development, enhancing financial market regulatory system, improving the quality of financial services products, and establishing robust talent training mechanisms.
