Research on Application Characteristics of Thick Silicon Steel Plate for Magnetic Shielding in Large Nuclear Power Turbine Generator
Magnetic shield platen is an important part of large nuclear power turbine generator,which can directly affect the power generation efficiency and operation stability.It is also of great significance to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the unit.Thick silicon steel plate is used as raw material of magnetic shield platen,it is required that the silicon steel plate has excellent electromagnetic properties while having a certain strength.However,the silicon steel plate used for magnetic shielding has the features of large thickness,high silicon content and easy cracking during rolling,which makes the production difficult.Previously,the thick silicon steel plate has been imported from abroad and failed to achieve domestic production.This paper introduces the research on localization of thick silicon steel plate for magnetic shielding in nuclear power,including component design,exploration and optimization of manufacturing process,as well as application characteristics.A series of comparison between domestic thick silicon steel plate and imported thick silicon steel plate shows that the domestic thick silicon steel plate can meet the requirements of the large nuclear power turbine generator.And the performance of chemical composition uniformity and electromagnetic properties of the domestic are superior to those of the imported.
