Design and Analysis of 20MW Offshore Integrated Permanent Magnet Synchronous Wind Generator
For the world's largest power 20MW offshore integrated wind turbine, there are many technical difficulties, such as low short-circuit torque, low torque pulsation, low vibration, low noise, integrated design, lightweight design, and heat dissipation of high power density generator.Through the innovative design of electromagnetic aspects, such as air gap, slot width, number of slots, and linkage of multiple sets of windings,we focus on the analysis of the electromagnetic characteristics of load and short-circuit conditions to obtain the optimal electromagnetic scheme. The lightweight design of the generator is carried out in terms of strength checking, modal analysis and other structural aspects. The generator heat dissipation system is designed by adopting multi-physical field simulation methods, such as magnetic-solid-fluid-thermal,to meet the heat dissipation requirements of high power density.Verified by the test, the generator has a rated power of 20.32MW,an efficiency of 98.28%,the temperature rise of the windings is controlled at 99K,the weight of the whole machine is 31t,and the power density reaches 655W/kg,with all the performance indexes reaching the international leading level.
