Study on the Influence of Flow Pattern of Pumping Station on Pump Unit Performance
In this paper,numerical simulation is used to predict and analyze the flow characteristics and operational stability of the entire flow channel of the unit under forward and lateral inflow of the pump station.The research object unit is a vertical axial flow pump device.Calculate the external characteristics,internal characteristics of the flow channel,and pressure pulsation characteristics inside the impeller of the water pump device under different inflow forms.Research has shown that there are backflow and eddies in the flow channel of the unit under lateral inflow,and the backflow zone is a low-speed zone with a flow velocity below 0.1m/s,close to the sedimentation velocity of sediment.The operating efficiency of the forward inlet unit is significantly higher than that of the lateral inlet unit,with the highest operating efficiencies of 78.89%and 77.26%,respectively.The main frequency amplitudes of pressure pulsation at measuring points M1,M2,and M3 for forward and lateral inflow are 0.0046,0.0052,0.0062,and 0.01,0.012,and 0.015,respectively.The flow velocity uniformity at the impeller inlet is 92.6%and 89.7%,respectively.The pressure pulsation at the inlet of the lateral inlet impeller is more severe than that at the inlet of the forward inlet impeller.The difference in flow characteristics and pressure pulsation characteristics within the channel indicates that forward flow occurs.The flow inside the water impeller is more stable,and the research results have engineering reference value and academic significance in pump station design.
