Study on the effect of pretreatment for platinum plating coating on sintered porous titanium plate
In order to improve the platinization process of sintered porous titanium plate and solve the problems of incomplete surface oil removal and unsatisfactory pickling etching during the pretreatment process, anhydrous ethanol oil removal and 50 wt.%sulfuric acid were used as the front of pickling etching agent. The effects of different oil remover and etcher on the self-density of platinum coating and the binding degree of titanium substrate in sintered porous titanium plate platinization were studied. The results show that the platinum coating is compact and has a high binding degree with titanium substrate under the conditions of anhydrous ethanol degreasing agent combined with 50 wt.%sulfuric acid etching at boiling state. The density and bonding degree of the coating can be improved by the method of oil removal by anhydrous ethanol and etching by sulfuric acid.
