Introduction of engineering example of wastewater standard upgrading and reconstruction project in electroplating park
This paper presents the treatment process, main structure parameters and operation effect of the wastewater upgrading and reconstruction project in Jingjiang Electroplating zone.Fenton oxidation, electrochemistry and resin adsorption were added at the end of the original nickel-containing wastewater treatment, and pyrolytic reduction,micro-electrolysis and flat ultrafiltration membranes were added at the end of the chromium-containing wastewater treatment. After these various pretreatment units were mixed, the process of"anaerobic hydrolysis-two-stage A/O+PACT-MBR"was added for biochemical treatment.Furthermore,to ensure the final effluent quality, ozone, advanced Fenton oxidation, and resin adsorption were employed as additional safeguards. The upgraded process demonstrated stable operation and a high degree of automation. As a result, the effluent quality was significantly improved, surpassing the standards outlined in Table 2 of the"Discharge Standards for Electroplating Pollutants"(GB21900-2008)and meeting the more stringent special discharge limits specified in Table 3.These improvements effectively enhance the surrounding water environment and serve as a valuable reference for similar upgraded wastewater treatment facilities in electroplating parks.
