Analysis of factors influencing the quality of surface conversion film formation on cold rolled sheet
Phosphating film and silane film are common conversion films on cold-rolled sheet. In addition to their own process having a significant impact on their formation quality, surface state and morphology of cold-rolled sheet also have a significant impact on their formation quality. The effects of residual oil and carbon on the surface of cold-rolled sheet, surface inclusions and precipitates, surface defects, surface alloying element segregation, surface micro morphology characterization parameters on the qualities of conversion film formation were analyzed, the influence of conversion film on the corrosion resistance of electrophoretic paint film and future research directions were discussed. The results indicate that:the cleanliness and purification of the surface of cold-rolled sheet, the reduction of surface inclusions and precipitates, segregation elements, and scratch defects, and the meticulous of surface micro morphology characterization parameters can improve the qualities of the formation of the conversion film on cold-rolled sheet.
