Analysis on Yield and Economic Benefits of Intercropping Between Fresh Corn and New Edamame
In order to improve the planting efficiency of fresh corn and new edamame in Yuxi area,this article took fresh sweet corn SBS902,glutinous corn Yanhejin 2000,and new edamame Kuixian 5 as the research objects,and set up eight and nine intercropping modes respectively.The diseases,yield,and economic benefits of fresh corn and new edamame under different intercropping modes were analyzed,and the best intercropping mode was selected for production application.The results showed that the intercropping of fresh sweet corn(glutinous corn)and new edamame had a significant increase in income compared to the net cropping of fresh sweet corn(glutinous corn).In the fresh sweet corn-new edamame intercropping,the incidence of soybean downy mildew disease was mild.Among them,the intercropping treatment of sweet 7 had the highest commercial yield of new edamame,which was 22.0%to 130.4%higher than other treatments;The fresh sweet corn commodity yield was the highest in the intercropping treatment of sweet 6,which was 10.8%to 84.4%higher than other treatments.In terms of total gross income,the sweet 7 intercropping treatment performed the best in terms of economic benefits,which was 2.9%to 61.1%higher than other treatments.Under the intercropping mode of fresh glutinous corn and new edamame,the incidence of corn leaf spot disease was relatively mild.Among them,the new edamame intercropped with glutinous 4 had the highest commercial yield,which was 0.8%to 102.5%higher than other treatments;The fresh glutinous corn commodity yield of Nuo 1 treatment(net seed glutinous corn)was the highest,which was 8.6%to 45.0%higher than other treatments.In terms of total gross income,the intercropping treatment Nuo 8 had the best overall economic performance,which was 9.1%to 78.0%higher than other treatments.Comprehensive analysis showed that the intercropping mode of Sweet 7 and Nuo 8 had excellent yield and economic benefits,and was suitable for promotion and planting in the Yuxi area.
