Research Progress on Comprehensive Effects of Sowing Date on Spring Soybean Yield in Northern China
The sowing period was an important agronomic measure that affected soybean yield. An appropriate sowing period could effectively balance the climatic conditions during the growth period, meet the needs of soybean at various growth stages, unleashed the production potential of varieties, and achieved high-quality and high yield. In order to clarify the comprehensive impact of sowing date on the agronomic traits and yield of spring soybeans in northern China, this article summarized the effects of sowing date on the morphological traits, growth period structure, light and characteristics, yield and yield composition of soybeans. The aim was to provide reference and theoretical basis for the rational selection of sowing date for supplementary planting and disaster relief in spring soybean production areas in northern China, and to help the high-quality development of the spring soybean industry in northern China.
