Suxia 18 was a new high-yield and early maturity summer cultivar,which was bred by Institute of Industrial Crops of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Woshu Seed Industry Co.,LTD through sexual hybridization and pedigree selection with Su 7209 as the female parent and Wandou 2407 as the male parent.From 2019 to 2020,it participated in the regional trial of the Huainan Summer Soybean Science and Enterprise Joint Venture of the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences,the average yield in two years was 2 981.13 kg/ha,which was 5.09％higher than that of control cultivar Sudou 13.In 2020,it participated in the production trial of the Huainan Summer Soybean Science and Enterprise Joint Venture of the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences,the average yield was 2 854.32 kg/ha,which was 6.47％higher than that of control cultivar Sudou 13.This cultivar had high-yield,early maturity,large seed,and good commercial value.The average growth period was 92.3 days,with a hundred grain weight of 29.3 g,a crude protein content of 44.9％,and a crude fat content of 18.6％.It was suitable for summer planting in the Huainan region of Jiangsu Province.In 2021,it passed the approval of Jiangsu Crop Variety Approval Committee,and the approval number was Sushendou 20210016.
