Breeding of High-Yield and Early Maturing Soybean Cultivar Yandou 2
Yandou 2 was a new early maturing soybean cultivar,which was bred by Jiangsu Coastal Agricultural Science Research Institute through sexual hybridization and bulk-population selection method with Zhonghuang 41 as the female parent and Guichun 1 as the male parent.From 2020 to 2021,it participated in the regional trial of summer soybeans in Huaibei of Jiangsu Province,the average yield in two years was 2 940.4 kg/ha,which was 5.3％higher than that of control cultivar Xudou 13.In 2022,it participated in the summer soybean production trial in Huaibei of Jiangsu Province,the average yield was 3 280.6 kg/ha,which was 6.3％higher than that of control cultivar Xudou 13.This cultivar had early maturity,high-yield,stable traits,strong disease resistance,and excellent quality,making it suitable for summer planting in Jiangsu region.In 2023,it passed the approval of Jiangsu Crop Variety Approval Committee,and the approval number was Sushendou 20230017.
