Research Progress in Soybean Chemical Mutagenesis Breeding
Soybean was one of the important grain and oil crops in China,and played an important role in China's food security.In order to accelerate the cultivation of high-yield and high-quality soybean varieties,this article reviewed the principles and characteristics of chemical mutagenesis,the development history of chemical mutagenesis breeding,types of mutagens,chemical mutagenesis breeding techniques,and the selection of main agronomic traits,aiming to provide a theoretical basis for high-yield soybean breeding.
