Breeding of New Early-Maturing and Stable Yield Summer Soybean Cultivar Sudou 219
Sudou 219 was a new summer soybean cultivar which was bred by Suzhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences through sexual hybridization and bulk-population selection method with Wansu 5717 as the female parent and 2007-3(Zhonghuang 13 × Zhongdou 20)as the male parent.It was early-maturing,stable yield,good disease resistance,strong adaptability,heat and drought tolerance,undivided pod,superior maturity and good grain quality,making it suitable for summer planting in Huaibei area and regions along Huaihe River.From 2018 to 2019,it participated in the regional trial of summer soybean in Anhui province,the average yield in two years was 2 568.5 kg/ha,which was 6.69%higher than the control cultivar Zhonghuang 13.In 2020,it participated in the summer soybean production trial in Anhui province,the average yield was 2 831.1 kg/ha,which was 6.49%higher than the control cultivar Zhonghuang 13.In 2021,it passed the approval of Anhui Crop Variety Approval Committee,and the approval number was Wanshendou 20210005.
