Breeding of High-Yield and Disease Resistance New Summer Soybean Cultivar Huaidou 18
Huaidou 18 was a new summer soybean cultivar with high-yield and disease resistance,which was bred by the Jiangsu Xuhuai Area Huaiyin Institute of Agricultural Sciences and Nanjing Agricultural University in 2006 through sexual hybirdization and improved single-seed transmission method with Huaidou 9 as the female parent and Zhonghuang 39 as the male parent.From 2019 to 2020,it participated in the regional trial of Jiangsu Huaibei summer soybean,the average yield in two years was 3 438.53 kg/ha,which was 9.56％higher than the control cultivar Xudou 13.In 2020,it participated in the production trial of Jiangsu Huaibei summer soybean,the average yield was 3 257.85 kg/ha,which was 8.18％higher than the control cultivar Xudou 13.It was highly resistant to soybean mosaic virus SC3 strains,and resistant to soybean mosaic virus SC7 strains,the crude protein content was 41.9％,and the crude fat content was 19.8％,which was suitable for planting in Huaibei area of Jiangsu Province as summer soybean.In 2021,it passed the approval of Jiangsu Crop Variety Approval Committee,and the approval number was the Sushendou 20210015.
