Through the investigation of the development status of traditional national sports in vocational colleges,students'cognition and understanding of traditional national sports,the integration of monthly competitions,what sports you want to open,whether you willing to participate in them and the ways of inheritance and innovative development,this paper proposes to integrate traditional national sports into the teaching of physical education courses on the ideological and political dimension in vocational colleges,analyzes traditional national sports that vocational colleges can offer by expounding the value function of traditional national sports,and takes various measures to promote traditional national sports into classrooms,minds and action,so as to enable vocational college students to strengthen their faith in communism,establish their lofty ideals of socialism,and become the builders and successors of the new era with traditional Chinese virtues and exquisite skills.
