Chinese archery culture,as one of the long traditional cultures of the Chinese nation,contains rich historical,philosophical and value connotations.Carrying out this culture in colleges and universities is the concrete embodiment of inheriting and promoting excellent traditional Chinese culture and implementing the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education.However,under the background of modern society,Chinese archery culture is facing the severe challenge of inheritance and protection.This paper aims to discuss the inheritance and protection of Chinese archery culture in colleges and universities,and puts forward relevant strategies and suggestions from the perspective of college education,so as to promote the inheritance and protection of Chinese archery culture.
