Application of Balance Training in Improving the Gait of Hemiplegic Patients
Objective:To explore the effect of balance training on the gait of hemiplegia patients after stroke. Methods:Literature and experiment methods were used,a total of 30 stroke patients who were hospitalized in the Rehabilitation Department of Hebei Special Care Hospital from July 2022 to December 2022 were selected, and research objects were divided into the observation group and the control group, with 15 in each group, according to whether they received balance training or not. Results and Conclusion:The Berg balance scale, modified Barthel index and RLA eight-point method were used to evaluate balance and gaits before and after treatment. There were no significant differences in Berg function scores and Barthel indexes between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After 5 weeks of treatment, excluding the interference of other non-therapeutic factors in the study, the score of the Berg balance scale of the observation group was significantly improved than that before treatment, the balance function of the observation group was more significantly improved than that of the control group, and the gait was also improved more significantly, which indicates that balance training could improve the abnormal gait of hemiplegia patients.
