With the rapid development of economy today,social conditions and structures have also changed,the soil of intangible cultural heritage on which all ethnic groups depend for survival has changed,and some intangible cultural heritage that has been passed on orally and behaviorally is slowly disappearing.Meishan Wushu is an important part of Chinese folk Wushu,and it takes Chiyou culture as its main content with obvious ethnic and regional characteristics.However,Meishan Wushu in the present stage is on the verge of extinction,and it urgently needs to be given social attention.Therefore,this article will focus on the status quo of Meishan Wushu culture protection in Hunan Province,with a view to providing a theoretical basis for the further promotion of the protection of Wushu culture heritage in Hunan Province.
