It is of great practical significance and era value to carry out the construction of ideological and political education in college football courses,which is not only the requirement of the times to inherit sportsmanship and build a strong sports nation,but also is an effective way to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and realize the all-round development of people.This paper summarizes and analyzes the value implication of the construction of ideological and political education in college football courses,and explains the importance,necessity and urgency of carrying out ideological and political education in college football courses.Through the integration of ideological and political elements such as patriotism education,football culture education,sportsmanship and football spirit,and the use of the reasonable integration means and methods of ideological and political education,this paper runs ideological and political education in football courses through the whole process of teaching and education,so as to constantly promote the improvement and sublimation of the comprehensive quality of students in various aspects such as spirit,will and quality,and cultivate qualified builders and successors with both internal and external cultivation and all-round development for the country.
