Sports carry the dream of national prosperity and national rejuvenation,and building a leading sports nation in the new era has become the direction of the reform and development of school sports in China,which gives new missions to school sports work.As a derivative of volleyball,air volleyball is a new sport in China.With the vigorous development of sports activities,innovation in physical education courses is becoming increasingly important,and physical education courses are moving towards a more diversified direction.The promotion of air volleyball has unique advantages,and through classroom learning,students can not only acquire new skills,but also improve their physical fitness and help motivate them to actively participate in various sports activities.Based on the characteristics and development potential of air volleyball,this article deeply analyzes the current development status of air volleyball in China,aiming to provide valuable reference opinions and suggestions for the promotion of air volleyball,contribute academic support to the continuous innovation and development of physical education courses,and provide theoretical guidance and inspirations for continuously promoting the vigorous development of air volleyball in school sports work through comprehensive research.
