Research on the Intercultural Communication of Sports Dance—Taking the Sports Dance Work Yellow River as an Example
This study aims to explore the use of Chinese elements in sports dance works and the cross-cultural communication value of sports dance.Taking the sports dance work Yellow River as an entry point,comprehensively utilizing methods such as case analysis,expert interviews and literature analysis,and combining the relevant theories of physical education,communication and art,this paper,on the one hand,elucidates the phenomenon of cultural fusion in the choreography of sports dance,and on the other hand deeply excavates the role of sports dance in the promotion of building a leading sports nation.It is found that Chinese elements are the main medium of the cross-cultural communication of sports dance,and that the work Yellow River is better integrated Chinese elements in the aspects of image shaping,movement choreography,space scheduling,music selection and costume and props design,which shows the spirit of the Yellow River and the heroism of Chinese people and is a classic work that combines Chinese and Western elements.The"Chinization"of sports dance works can help shape the image of a great nation,spread excellent traditional Chinese culture and enhance sports culture exchanges at home and abroad,which is an inevitable requirement for building a leading sports nation,and fits the development law of enhancing cultural confidence in the context of the new era.In view of this,we should continue to adhere to the concept of"harmony but difference",and continue to explore and innovate more excellent sports dance works,so as to tell Chinese stories well and help improve the national image and international influence.
