Research on the Dilemmas and Countermeasures of Developing Physical Fitness in Extended After-School Sports Services in Primary Schools
Using methods such as literature, questionnaire surveys, expert interviews and on-site research, this paper studies the current situation and dilemma of developing physical fitness courses in after-school extended services at elementary schools and puts forward countermeasures.Through the study of the current situation of after-school sports services, this paper finds that sports services have a relatively low proportion in after-school services, physical fitness courses account for a significant proportion of after-school sports services, the rules and regulations for after-school sports services are relatively complete, there is the single organizational form and large site restrictions, and that there are insufficient teachers and equipment and a lack of teaching resources. The dilemmas of integrating physical fitness courses into after-school sports services:insufficient teachers limit the service level, restricted activity venues inhibit the development of the course, inadequate support from subjects restricts the implementation of the course,a lack of financial subsidies restricts service conditions, shortcomings in the evaluation mechanism constrain the promotion of services, and the inefficient linkage mechanism among families, schools and communities affects the implementation effect. In response to the current status and dilemmas of developing physical fitness in after-school services, this paper proposes optimization measures such as enhancing the teaching staff, optimizing venue resources, increasing subjects'attention, allocating funds precisely, improving the evaluation system, and strengthening the linkage mechanism.
