Impact of Altitude Training on the Physical Functions of Athletes
Altitude training has always been an important auxiliary method in competitive sports training,and it has increasingly attracted widespread attention from sports teams and science educators in various regions.This article reviews physical education textbooks and relevant literature at home and abroad,and discusses the relevant effects of altitude training on the skeletal muscle system,material and energy metabolism system,blood system,respiratory system and cardiovascular system of athletes.After the human body is exposed to the altitude environment for several days,weeks and months,the body gradually adapts to the air environment with lower oxygen partial pressure,but these beneficial effects brought by adaptation will disappear within a month of returning to lower altitudes.This article reviews the changes and adaptability of altitude training on the human body functions of athletes,hoping to provide a necessary reference for athletes to engage in altitude training.
