Research Progress on Specific Exercise Interventions for Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis
Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is a common structural lateral rotation of the spine curvature, and the incidence of AIS in primary and secondary school students in China is 1.23%, which brings a lot of harms to the physical and mental health of adolescents. Exercise therapy is one of the important means of the conservative treatment of AIS, and it is urgent to study the exercise intervention program suitable for the current social status of China and the characteristics of AIS patients. This paper reviews the AIS exercise intervention methods reported at home and abroad, and analyzes their characteristics and therapeutic effects, in order to provide references for clinical or researchers in China to develop scientific and reasonable exercise programs.
