In order to promote the improvement of the teaching level of Sports Basketball courses in technical colleges, this paper conducts research on the exploration and practice of the teaching of Sports Basketball courses in technical colleges. By analyzing the current situation of Sports Basketball course teaching in technical colleges, this paper clarifies the influencing factors of Sports Basketball course teaching in technical colleges under the background of national fitness, and proposes the teaching practice strategies of following individual development to mobilize students' interest in sports, building a campus basketball culture platform, and strengthening guidance and support for basketball associations, in order to provide assistance in cultivating more talents with basketball skills and comprehensive qualities.
