Using the literature method and logical analysis method, this paper analyzes the supply and demand situation of sports venues in China, and expounds the connotation and significance of the supply-side structural transformation and reform of sports venues in China from the three dimensions of demand, the market and industry modernization. Research results show that supply-side reform is currently an important issue in the development of the venue industry, and that existing problems in sports venues, such as the low resource utilization rate, poor economic efficiency, large incremental space, and imbalance spatial distribution and input structure, need to be solved urgently. This paper proposes to strengthen the market competition mechanism to achieve the benign interaction between the market and the government, to improve the supply of systems, optimize human capital and promote the diversification of supply subjects to expand the effective supply of sports venue products, and to fully explore the resources of venues, improve sports consumption facilities, optimize the sports consumption environment and enrich sports products and services, so as to promote the realization of the overall plan for a healthy China.
