The high-quality development of the sports training industry is conducive to building a leading sports nation. Using the method of field investigations, literature and expert interviews, the paper discusses the realistic dilemmas and the relief paths of the high-quality development of the sports training industry from the perspective of supply-demand coordination. At present, the realistic predicaments of the sports training industry in China are manifested as the coexistence of strong market demand and insufficient effective demand, the coexistence of rapid market expansion and excessive ineffective supply, and the further deterioration of the sports training market environment led by the structural imbalance between supply and demand. This paper proposes that the demand side should break information barriers to stimulate the effective consumption demand of consumers for sports training, the supply side should improve the supply system to help improve the effective supply capacity of sports training institutions, and that it is necessary to optimize market regulation to give full play to the role of market mechanisms.
